　　Ladies and gentlemen:

　　It's my pleasure to be here to express myself. We all know that BJ has got the bid to hold the Olympic Games. We have taken action for the success of the Olympic Games. I can't forget the day, on July 13th 2001, on that exciting day, our dream realized. Once we expected, once we experienced, and we made a good effort. Finally, our bid for the Olympic Games succeeded. It is no longer a dream.

　　In the year 2008, the hour hand of the world will focus BJ. The Olympic holy fire will be lighted on this splendid ground.We are looking forward to that day.

　　In the year 2006, the old BJ will stand in the east of the world, in a complete new look. The three topic of the Olympic Games -----"Green Olympic", "Cultural Olympic", and "Technical Olympic", will be fully and excellently shown to the world. We are putting the plan into practice.

　　In the year 2004, there will be lots of tall buildings in the fast-developed Pinggu district. The protection of the environment will be completely improved. The village will be rich and the scenery will be more and more beautiful. We are practicing English crazily, and even the 6-year-old child can speak excellent and standard English, we are making a good effort, we are trying our best, to welcome the Olympic Games, to welcome the world.

　　In the year 2002, the reason why we talk about our feat so confidently, is not only a dream, but because we have the reason to believe that we could get the bid of the Olympic Games by unreleased hard work of hundreds of million of people, why can't we hold it successfully? Of course we can, because we have taken actions!

　　I don't know from what time on, since Li Yang's "crazy English was known to all, almost all the people, men and women, young and old, started to study English. They listened to his lecture and had his class. They not only speak English in class, but also speak English after class. We could say some simple sentences, such as "How are you?" "What have you been doing recently?" in a word, we are practicing an excellent and Standard English, what will be a surprise to the whole world!

　　I don't know from what time on, the people around don't throw away plastic bags randomly as before. They each will plant a tree on March 12th. They only want to do something for their country. They want to make BJ's water cleaner and the sky bluer.

　　To our students, we certainly know that we are in a fast-developing world, we know that we are playing an important part in the future of our country, there is a saying "the youths are strong, then the country is strong: the youths are stronger: then the country is stronger than the earth." So why don't we study hard and do our best to do everything well? Why don't we learn from the others to realize our dream? Why don't we stop talking and starting doing something for the Olympic Games.

　　Since the dream comes true, we have taken actions excitingly and enthusiasmly, we believe all the time that our next dream will come true too. BJ will successfully hold the 2008 Olympic Games！Let's work hand in hand, shoulder by shoulder to prove: Beijing is the best, we are the best. Let's work hard together to light up the sky of the Olympics.
